I broke my wrist

 

Soooo yesterday was an eventful day! 

Had a good first part of the day and in the afternoon, I made pancakes to enjoy the sunday with Mr. M. It was really nice to spend some time with him, after a busy week and saturday. when I got dressed, I felt like something was off. I couldn't tell what it was. I  just knew something bad would happen. So I asked Mr. M, if he could drive me to the stable. I think he thought I was some kind of a spoiled brat, because it's a 5 min. drive in car and about 15-20 minuttes on bike. I don't blame it for this! But even though I tried to make him drive me, he wouldn't. So I walked out the door a one time, then back in, to try and convince him one more time. He said no again, and I walked out the frontdoor..

So this is where things goes wrong. When I'm walking out of our frontdoor to the building, I slip and fall. I hurt my hand/arm in this fall. I don't really notice at first, but when I was standing at my bike. Something in my body just felt wrong. Then I noticed my wrist. It was kinda hurting. Then I walked back inside and Mr. M could tell something was wrong. I got some ice on my wrist. M looked at it and we could tell it was swollen. We drove to the stable and I called a doctor. He wanted to take me the casualty (ER). We got some help from another person at the stable, because we had to go quit fast to make it to the time we got ( Here you have to get an appointment, when going to the casualty). But when we got there, there was a long waiting time for everyone! 

But I got checked and sent to get exrays. Then some more waiting and more waiting. Finally I got called in. Turns out I had broken a bone in my wrist. So I had to get a cast on and wear it for 4 weeks. All I could do was just sit there and laugh. I was in so much of a chok, because I didn't think, that it was this bad! So I got the cast on and walked to the car, were Mr. M was sitting. I couldn't stop laughing, because it was so stupid all of it. How in the world can you break something by doing something like I did!? 

Anyway the sofa has become my friend  with a chair with pillows on it,next to the sofa. To make things worse, I also broke my phone, so I couldn't call anybody! I have bought a new phone though! I just can't use it at the moment, because it needs a code, which I don't have. so i'm just (im)patiently waiting. I can see that a lot of people has written to me on apps I can't use at the moment, so that's great! (I don't know if you could feel the irony there?!). 

But what about Miss G? Well  of obviously reasons I can't ride her, and at the moment, I also can't do some of the work in the stable. But I know  the owners of the stable, has a daughter who also ride and she has helped both me and Mr. M before. So I've asked her mother, if the daughter would like to help me with Miss G in the stable and with riding, if she is up for it. It would be a great help for me, Mr. M and Miss G. Aaaaand I also get to teach, which i kinda like doing. But I know I can't teach at a Gran prix level, but at this level I know I can! 

One thing I have learned through all of this is: My pain tolerance is a lot higher, since I got an ulcer 3 years ago! Other people would probably be filled with painkillers and so, but I have only taken one and I don't think it hurts that much. Okay sometimes it hurts a little  more, but I can take it! But I'll talk to you later, even though, my post might not come as fast, because I can only write with one hand at the moment.
