Storytime: How I became a blogger

 

I know this blog is kind of new. But actually I have been blogging for many years now! 

So the story on how I started blogging sounds a bit like this: 

When I was 16/17 years old, I went to a boarding school. Now the boardingschools here in my country are very different than what you would normally know. Well we actually also have those kind of boardingschools here in my country. The kind of boardingschool I went to, you of course live there, but you can only be there for one to maybe two years. I do however know that in some schools you can stay there for 3 years. But that kinda really rare. I only stayed there for one year. 

When I finished school there, I went to high school. One of my friends from boarding school started her own blog. At that time blogging wasen't as popular as it is today. I think alot of the people around me, thought it was kind of weird. Like who blogs? Nobody does that! Well my friend startet her blog. I started reading it and... honestly I didn't find it that interesting. I do want to say I have nothing against her! I just know that it is really difficult - especially at that time, to start a blog. I'm not saying  it is easiere today, since there's alot of us now! 

So I thought to myself "well if she can do it, then so can I!" So I started my first blog. Here i wrote about anything. This was my place to get my feelings out, since I was actually quit miserable in high school. Then I was really into fashion, so I started my fashion blog, at a later point. but as you all know I am a crazy horse person, so I started another blog about my life with horses. 

The 3 different kind of blogs went kind of okay. My horse blog actually got voted by an outdoor magazine as one of the 6 best horseblogs in my country. So I think that's kind of cool. But I still didn't think that I was doing a great job. You know I felt like I could do more! So one day I got aproached by someone, who wanted me to write for them. I thought about it. checked their website out and you what? It did sound kinda cool to write for them. 

So I made another blog. Yeah You'd think having 3 other blogs were much, so why not make another one?! This went okay too. But I felt like having the 3 blogs got to much. Well actually I only had 2 because my horseblog, became the blog for the magazine. So I had my normal blog and fashion blog. However I did loose kind of interest for the fashion thing. So I decided That I would merch the 3 blogs into one. So that's what I did. For that magazine I actually got voted to be blogger of the month in 2019. Cool if you ask me! 

I have been blogging for them for years and liked it. But I do write in my native language, which I know might be hard for non- speakers of my native language. I feel like that is kind of sad, because you know english speakiers should be able to read blogs from other countries in a language they understand, and not having to use google translate, which you know... Might not be the best all of the time and it can get different words or sentence wrong. 

So I decided that I would make a blog where I would write in English. Yes I might be writing about the same things, or I'll write about differents things.
